Hone Coworks is excited to welcome our new Community Manager, Sara McDonnell. Sara comes to Hone from The Business Council of New York State, where she was the Manager of Conference Development. In this capacity, Sara managed all aspects of sales, marketing, and planning for events throughout New York State. She is a Capital Region native and lives in Slingerlands with her husband, son, and two dogs. Sara enjoys cooking and entertaining friends and family in her spare time.
We asked Sara a few questions about her new role at Hone:
What are you most looking forward to as the Community Manager of Hone Coworks? I am looking forward to working in this fantastic space, especially after telecommuting the past few months! I can’t wait to show off all the amenities and create relationships with our new members.
How will your past experiences translate to your success as the new Community Manager of Hone Coworks? I think my seven years of experience as an event planner will help me nurture a feeling of community amongst the diverse group of businesses at Hone Coworks while addressing each member’s unique needs.
What makes the Capital Region a great place to work and live? The Capital Region is an ever-changing community with constant growth, but it’s also very stable due to State government and the colleges that are here. We have great arts, music, and dining, plus it’s just a short drive to the amazing Adirondacks. But flex lease spaces are one thing that the Capital Region currently has in limited supply compared to other areas, especially with as many private offices as we have at Hone. I’m excited to be part of the region’s growth by providing a flexible, all-inclusive professional office platform that supports the success of our members.
