Venessa focuses on maintaining a welcoming and supportive environment at Hone Coworks to ensure members can always be their most productive.
Venessa is originally from Massachusetts but has lived in the Albany area since she was 7 years old. In her free time, Venessa enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, soaking up the sun, going to the beach, and kayaking. She also loves finding new gluten-free recipes to make for her loved ones and dancing to 60’s music while doing so. We asked Venessa a few questions about herself so you could get better acquainted:
Why did you choose Hone Coworks as your next career move?
I chose Hone Coworks as my next career move because I truly resonated with the corporate company value of raising the bar and striving for excellence, even in the trivial things. I love to be challenged and Hone Coworks seemed like it would be the best place to improve and grow my professional career.
How will your past experiences translate to your success as the new Community Manager of Hone Coworks? My past experiences will translate into my success as the new Assistant Community Manager at Hone Coworks because of how I was raised. Growing up, I was encouraged to have an excellent work ethic, an eye for detail, and I developed the ability to preemptively anticipate the needs of others. I tend to pay special attention to small details, which will be helpful in our efforts at Hone to remove all distractions from members. In addition to this, my past experiences have allowed me to develop good people skills and helped me to become a good communicator.
What makes the Capital Region a great place to work and live? The Capital Region is a wonderful place to work and live because of its’ beautiful, natural surroundings. I have also found that the local community is very inspiring and being a member of it has helped me to learn and grow within myself. I think my neighbors in Capital Region have helped provide me with a clear vision of personal possibilities and options for career advancement.
What’s one fun fact about yourself? One fun fact about me is that I would much rather live in a cabin next to a lake, surrounded by mountains, than live in the bustling city.
