What are you responsible for at ANS GEO?
I am responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of the firm, which are both operational and technical From the operational side, my day includes a mix of client engagement, business planning, and making decisions which support our on-going growth. From the technical side, I also handle the review of the engineering work, calculations, and reports prepared by our team of professionals.
What should people know about ANS GEO?
We are actually a pandemic born business. We are very employee focused. When we started last in December of 2020, we were there staff working out of a small office in South Plainfield, New Jersey. We are now 24 staff eleven months later, working in three locations across the United States.
What’s one factor that makes your business different?
One of our founding principals, as simple as it sounds, is that “we will work with each other, and not for each other.” This extends not only internally across our organization, but also with the external clients and stakeholders which we interact with. Our team consists of problem solvers of all backgrounds, and we like to think what differentiates us is our attitude to solve challenges together with everyone we interact with.
What are you passionate about outside of your work?
I’m truly passionate about giving back and volunteering in my spare time outside work. I believe I was given a number of basic opportunities that helped shape my career—whether it was a great teacher, mentor, or financial support—and I try to give all of those things and more back to others around me. I get the wonderful opportunity to be an Adjunct Professor at my alma mater, and also share my time with a number of professional and local organizations. I strongly believe that strengthening the community around you only makes for a more fulfilling life.
